Lately, I’ve been watching a large amount of ‘Guy’s Grocery Games’. If you are new to the ‘Jason Diet’ I would not recommend it. It’s super crazy and over the top. Written by Dr. Michael Greger MD, this book is an excellent addition and extension to Eat To Live. Organized by disease, each chapter details the food, research, and reasoning of how to best prevent or battle each way that you could die. The book does not reject modern medicine, but instead suggests preventing the need for medication, and complimenting modern treatments for all sorts of ailments.
Basically, its the reason I try to get ginger before I fly, other than how great ginger tastes in a smoothie!...
Just like the Book of Mormon (Musical) this book changed my life and can change yours too.
The summary: Stop listening to other peoples bullshit, and apply logic and reasoning when making important life decisions (and maybe even reconsider those decisions periodically)
If Eat To Live seems a little too boring and dry to get started, have Penn Jilette swear at you until you get healthy. Especially in audiobook form!...
